Ben Page is a registered adult nurse, qualified first aid instructor, and founder of PPP Services, a nationwide first aid training provider. He brings over 20 years of frontline nursing experience, including nine years of service in the British Army. Ben specialises in practical, real-world first aid for high-risk and remote environments, with a strong focus on clear decision making under pressure. His teaching is grounded in operational experience rather than theory, helping learners understand not just what to do, but why it matters when seconds count and help may be a long way off.

No. This is an awareness short course only. It does not replace formal first aid training or provide a nationally recognised certificate. For a qualification, you'll need to complete a course such as Emergency First Aid at Work with Forestry (EFAW) or First Aid at Work with Forestry (FAW).

You don't need equipment to complete the module, but it will introduce you to essential first aid kit. The complete Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) featured in the course, fully packed with all the equipment covered, is available to purchase from the Shooting & Hunting Academy Shop.
