By using this Website, you agree to Clauses 1, 2, 4–11, and 15–25 of these Terms and Conditions. Clauses 3 and 12–14 apply only if you purchase Services. If you do not accept these terms, please stop using the Website. This Website does not make contractual offers; your order serves as an offer, which we accept by sending a confirmation email.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
For the purposes of this Agreement, the following terms are defined as follows:
"Account": Refers collectively to the personal information, payment details, and credentials that Users utilise to access Paid Content and/or any communication systems on the Website.
"Content": Denotes all text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations, and any other format of information capable of being stored electronically, which appears on or constitutes part of this Website.

2. Age Restrictions
2.1 There are no age restrictions for using the website or completing the theory element-based courses, though children under 13 years of age must obtain parental consent to do so. Where practical shooting assessments are required, the following age restrictions will apply:
Airgun Proficiency Course (APC) (Practical element): Candidates should be at least 14 years of age.
PDS1 (Practical element): Candidates should be at least 17 years of age.
PDS2 (Practical element): Candidates should be at least 18 years of age.
Please note, Approved Verifiers may have their own age restrictions in place and this should be considered prior to a Verification booking
2.2 By accepting /booking a Practical Verification requiring a firearm (or airgun) you declare that you do not have any serious mental health issues and that you are not a 'Prohibited Person' as defined by the Firearms Act, Section 21(4).
3. Business Customers
These Terms and Conditions also cover customers purchasing Services for business purposes.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Except as stated in Clause 5, all content on the Website—unless uploaded by Users—including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, data compilations, page layout, code, and software, belongs to Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd, its affiliates, or relevant third parties. By using the Website, you acknowledge this material is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
4.2 Except as provided in Clause 6, material from the Website may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, stored, or otherwise re-used unless indicated on the Website or with express written permission.
5. Third Party Intellectual Property
5.1 Unless otherwise specified, all Intellectual Property rights, including but not limited to Copyright and Trademarks, in product images and descriptions are held by the manufacturers or distributors of those products, as applicable.
5.2 Subject to Clause 6, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or otherwise re-use such material unless indicated on the Website or if express written permission has been granted by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

9. Use of Communications Facilities
9.1 When using any System on the Website, users are expected to follow these rules. Non-compliance may result in account suspension or closure:
9.1.1 The use of language considered obscene or vulgar is not allowed.
9.1.2 Content submitted must comply with the law and should not be objectionable. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, ageist, sexist, or racist.
9.1.3 Content intended to promote or incite violence is not allowed.
9.1.4 It is recommended that submissions be made in English, as responses to enquiries in other languages may not be possible.
9.1.5 Self-identification must comply with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws.
9.1.6 Users must not impersonate others, especially employees or representatives of Shooting & Hunting Academy, Ltd or its affiliates.
9.1.7 The System must not be used for unauthorised mass communications such as "spam" or "junk mail".
9.2 You agree that Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd may monitor all communications to or through Our System.
9.3 You agree that Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd may keep copies of all such communications.
9.4 You acknowledge that any information you send through Our System may be changed by Us, and you waive your moral right to authorship. Any restrictions on our use of your information must be provided in advance; we may refuse these terms and the related information.
10. Accounts
10.1 To use the Website's Services and access specific features, users must create an Account with their personal and payment details, which may vary based on how they use the Website. Payment information is not required until a purchase is initiated. By continuing to use this Website, you represent and warrant that:
10.1.1 all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
10.1.2 you have appropriate authorisation to submit Payment Information where such permission is necessary; and
10.1.3 you will ensure your information remains accurate and up to date. The creation of an Account serves as further confirmation of these representations and warranties.
10.2 It is strongly advised that you do not share your Account credentials, particularly your username and password. We disclaim liability for any losses or damages arising from the sharing of your Account details. If you are using a shared computer, we recommend that you refrain from saving your Account information in your browser.
10.3 If you suspect that your Account details have been accessed by an unauthorised third party, please contact us immediately so that we can suspend your Account and cancel any unauthorised orders or payments that may be pending. Kindly note that orders or payments can only be cancelled before the provision of Services begins. Should an unauthorised transaction occur before you notify us, you will be responsible for charges incurred from the commencement of services until notification, and you may be billed for one full billing cycle.
10.4 When selecting a username, you must adhere to the requirements outlined in Clause 9. Non-compliance may result in the suspension or deletion of your Account.
11. Termination and Cancellation of Accounts
11.1 Either Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd or the user may terminate the account. If the account is terminated by the company, notification will be sent via email with an explanation for the termination. However, the company reserves the right to terminate without providing reasons.
11.2 If the company terminates the account, any current or pending orders or payments associated with the account will be cancelled, and services will not be provided.
12. Services, Pricing and Availability
12.1 All general descriptions of services offered by Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd are intended to correspond to the actual services delivered; however, variations may occur depending on individual requirements and circumstances. This does not affect liability for errors due to negligence and only applies to differences in service details, not substitution of different services. Reference should be made to sub-Clause 13.8 for issues regarding incorrect services.
12.2 Where relevant, users may need to select the appropriate service plan.
12.3 The company does not guarantee that services will always be available and cannot confirm availability until the order has been accepted. Availability information is not displayed on the website.
12.4 All pricing information listed on the website is accurate at the time of publication. The company reserves the right to adjust prices and modify or remove special offers as needed.
12.5 If prices change between the time an order is placed and payment is processed, the price valid at the time of the order will apply.
12.6 Website prices include VAT.
13. Orders and Provision of Services
13.1 The website content does not constitute a contractual offer. An order submitted by a user is considered a contractual offer that may be accepted solely at the company's discretion. Acceptance is confirmed by sending an order confirmation email. A binding contract exists only once the order confirmation email has been issued.
13.2 Order confirmations under sub-Clause 13.1 will be provided before service delivery and will include:
13.2.1 Details of the services ordered, including their main characteristics.
13.2.2 Itemised pricing, including applicable taxes, delivery fees, and any additional charges.
13.2.3 Relevant times and dates for service provision.
13.2.4 User credentials and information required to access the services.
13.3 If the company does not accept an order, no payment will be taken under normal circumstances. Any amounts paid will be refunded within 14 calendar days.
• 13.4 Payment for the Services shall be taken via your chosen payment method, immediately for any setup fee that corresponds to the service plan you purchased and at the same day of each subsequent month (“billing cycle”) for charges accrued during the previous month (“billing cycle”) AND/OR as indicated in the order confirmation you received.
• 13.5 We aim to fulfil your Order within 4-5 working days or if not, within a reasonable period following your Order, unless there are exceptional circumstances. If we cannot fulfil your Order within a reasonable period, we will inform you at the time you place the Order by a note on the relevant web page or by contacting you directly after you place your Order. Time is not of the essence of the Contract, which means we will aim to fulfil your Order within any agreed timescales, but this is not an essential term of the Contract, and we will not be liable to you if we do not do so. If the Services are to begin within 14 calendar days of Our acceptance of your order, at your express request, you will be required to expressly acknowledge that your statutory cancellation rights, detailed below in Clause 14, will be affected.
• 13.6 Shooting & Hunting Academy Ltd shall use all Our reasonable endeavours to provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, commensurate with best trade practice.
• 13.7 In the event that Services are provided that are not in conformity with your order and thus incorrect, you should contact Us immediately to inform Us of the mistake. We will ensure that any necessary corrections are made within five (5) working days.
• 13.8 Additional terms and conditions may apply to the provision of certain Services. You will be asked to read and confirm your acceptance of any such terms and conditions when completing your Order.
14. Cancellation of Orders and Services
Customers may contact customer service regarding any issues with their orders at info@shootingandhuntingacademy.co.uk. Orders that have been accepted may be cancelled, and contracts may also be cancelled. If specific terms related to a service include cancellation policies, those policies will take precedence.

26. Complaints
26.1 If a candidate wishes to make a complaint about any of our products or services, they will be invited to communicate their complaint and their reasons. The Shooting & Hunting Academy will first take steps to address the complaint fairly and reasonably, as soon as possible.
26.2 If the candidate remains dissatisfied, the candidate should be directed to register their complaint in writing directly to Shooting & Hunting Academy, clearly marking their email as ‘Complaint’ and by emailing info@shootingandhuntingacademy.co.uk marking their correspondence FAO Peter Jones. (Alternatively, a complaint form can be requested by emailing the same address).
27. Law and Jurisdiction
English and Welsh law governs these Terms and your relationship with us.
